Looking for Indoor Halloween Activities? - Greater Austin Moms

Sometimes, ATX weather is beautiful and great and gives us the BEST for a holiday. And sometimes, it doesn’t and it tries to suck all the fun out of a holiday. Luckily, I’ve got you covered! So many fun things are happening inside this year and I’ve rounded them all up and put them all in one blog for you! Make sure to check our events calendar and social media for any cancellations or changes!

Friday- 10/27

  • The Thinkery is hosting a Halloween Hootenanny which promises to have many different activities for all ages including mummy wrapping, a costume parade, spooky tunes and so much more! This is going to be such a fun event. Tickets range from $25-$30 depending on membership or guest! The event runs from 6pm-8pm. Make sure to get there early for the best parking!

 

 

  • If you’re looking for more of some adult time, WorkCastle is having a Parent’s Night Out from from 6pm-10pm. They promise to have many different games in activities in a safe setting! Don’t forget to dress in costume! The cost is $75

Saturday 10/28

  • All Austin area Lowe’s stores are hosting a trick-or-treating event from 10am-1pm. Dress the kids in their costume and they can enjoy getting candy around the store. Make sure to register on the Lowe’s website to let them know you’re coming!

 

  • Head over to Austin Scottish Rite theatre so see the last weekend of preformances of Paquito y Abueltio. Showtimes are 11am and 1pm. Tickets range from $18-$22

 

  • Learning Express Austin is also hosting their own halloween party with face painting and story time. Make sure to wear your costume to enter in the costume contest!

 

  • Chaparrel Ice is hosting a halloween disco skate with glitter tattoos, candy, spooky music and a photo booth

Sunday 10/29

  • Boo-Bash is happening at Hotel Viata from 10:30am-12pm. Come meet 9 of your favorite characters from princesses to Jack and Sally Skellington. There will be many activities including a bounce house, petting zoo, dance party, pumpkin painting and glitter tattoos. Don’t worry parents, we didnt forget about you either! Cocktail specials as well as spooky snacks will be served. Grab your tickets now!

 

  • Indigo play is hosting a halloween party included with admission to play. Activities include a costume parade, games, trick or treating and a raffle!

 

  • Armstrong Community Music School is hosting Halloween Spooktacular 2023 from 2pm-5pm. Activities include live music, story time, arts and crafts, sensory play and so much more!

Tuesday 10/31

Mindcolor Autism is hosting a Sensory-Friendly Trunk-or-Treat and Fall activities. Come see their new location in Buda and enjoy a truck or treat with our community! Make sure to dress in costume!
