It baffles me that I found time to make homemade cleaners when my kids were little… I think life was simpler and maybe we were better at saying “no” to all the additional activities. There also weren’t many natural options and it scared me to think of the chemicals that would make it into my kids’ systems, so I found a recipe and started making my own. It was time consuming, I could never get windows streak free and the vinegar smell was overwhelming, but it was the best option I had while overseas.
I began buying a higher end cleaner when we moved to the US in 2015, but the price always made me cringe. Then one day in H-E-B I saw this on the shelves with one of those lovely yellow coupons hanging below it. I love love love this glass + surface cleaner. Smells fresh without overwhelming the senses, cleans without streaking, and is non-toxic (so the kids can help me clean, yay!). One happy clean freak momma here.
I keep one in every bathroom under the sink along with a roll of paper towels so I can grab, spray and swipe easily when I notice smudgy or spotted mirrors. Be on the lookout for more LemiShine products on my Friday Faves because they keep rolling out new products and I’ve loved every one I’ve tried so far!
Recently I was driving up South Congress and saw a LemiShine sign… looked it up and found out LemiShine is local to Austin! Love supporting local businesses!
