Hey Moms, I Found a Party Planning Lifesaver—Partydip! - Greater Austin Moms

Okay, let’s talk about party planning for a second. Is it just me, or does it sometimes feel like planning a birthday party or baby shower is way harder than it should be? Between finding a venue, booking entertainment, ordering a cake, and figuring out how to make it all come together, it’s…a lot.

Well, I just stumbled across this local site called Partydip, and I have to share it with you because it might just make our lives so much easier.

What Is Partydip?

Basically, it’s a website where you can find and book everything you need for your kiddo’s party—or any kind of celebration, really. They’ve got local vendors for things like bounce houses, face painting, cakes, and even unique venues. You can browse reviews (written by other parents, which is so helpful) and book directly through the site.

Oh, and the best part? Everything is secure. No more worrying about whether the vendor will ghost you after you’ve sent a deposit. It’s all backed by their booking guarantee, which honestly feels like such a relief.

Who’s Behind the Idea?

Partydip.co was created by three parents—Angela Hein, James Ansell, and Heidi Brown—all with elementary-aged kids and a shared frustration with how difficult it was to plan parties every single year.

Each co-founder brought their unique expertise to the table. Heidi and Angela have been friends since high school and have made it their life mission to solve problems for moms! James is the tech wizard behind the platform. Together, they’ve built a solution inspired by their own experiences to help parents save time, reduce stress, and create amazing memories.

What’s on the Site?

So far, I’ve been loving the variety of local vendors they’ve pulled together. A few that stood out to me:

  • Karate Dance Party: It’s part karate lesson, part dance-off, and it looks like so much fun—for the kids and the parents.
  • Pottery Class on Wheels: They literally bring a mobile pottery studio to your house, and each kid gets to make something to take home. No need for goody bags!
  • Little Princess Spa: It’s a spa day just for kids. Think mini-manicures and tiaras. How cute is that?

It’s not just the big stuff, either. They’ve got everything from balloon artists to cake decorators—it’s all in one place.

Why I’m Into It

I think what I love most is how simple it feels. No running around town or scrolling through endless Facebook posts trying to find a face painter who’ll actually reply to your messages. Plus, since everything is local, it’s nice knowing you’re supporting small businesses in the area.

If you’ve got a party coming up and the planning is starting to feel like a lot, it’s worth checking out. The site is Partydip.co—bookmark it, because I have a feeling it’s going to save you some serious time and stress.
