Austin Film Festival’s Summer Film Camp is back for its 23rd year, happening June 2 – July 27, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Austin, with weeklong camps that provide students with the venue, equipment, and instruction they need to create a short film or animation! Morning, afternoon, and day-long sessions are open for students ages 9-18. Young creatives learn the full process of filmmaking, getting them behind the camera and turning their ideas into real movies. Students also participate in inspirational panel discussions with visiting guests. Once camp concludes, all students have the unique opportunity to see their films on the big screen at the annual Summer Film Camp showcase!

ATX KIDS CLUB is an Austin-based 501c3 nonprofit that provides life-changing adventure field trips for children ages four to 13 years old. In partnership with Austin’s public transit system, CapMetro, we introduce kids to their extraordinary city by exploring it together in small, tightly knit groups. Young adventurers learn how to use public transportation, problem-solve as a team, and experience firsthand some of Austin’s most prized treasures. More importantly, they develop a sense of self-confidence and independence during their most formative years that will shape their lives in significant ways. Through our field-trip experiences, children learn about their region’s history, art, culture and environment.

Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s has put kids in charge at camp. Campers choose from a variety of activities in real-time, including sewing, coding, maker crafts, sports, and more! Families can buy any number of days, to use at any time–no weekly commitments required.
